Animation at The National Media Museum

As of September InspirEd Workshops will be co-delivering animation workshops at The Media Museum in Bradford.  The sessions are exclusively for visiting school/college students who want to learn more about the science behind animation.

The Museum is a great place to learn about the history of media with fantastic exhibitions and hands on attractions.   Our workshops run over 2 or 4 hours and include the use of Lego and plasticine.  We take our inspiration from the animation exhibition on level 5.  There is an original set with characters form Aardman Animations ‘The Wrong Trousers’ (the only one remaining from the film as there was a fire in 2005 which wiped out most of Aardmans sets and characters), examples of cartoon cells and even a little ‘Morph’.

The workshops are bookable through The Media Museum website and are aimed at KS 2-4

We hope to see you and your students there soon 🙂
