The LYFF will take place at The Carriageworks from 1-8th April with film screenings every day for £3 each, including award winning worldwide films you can’t see anywhere else!
As well as a Harry Potter day, celebrating the first 3 films with mini activities.

I've written a short blog about how we made the light projection that is currently displayed on Ripon Workhouse. Catch it from 6:30 each evening for the next few weeks.
It was such a pleasure to see the participants faces when they saw their work projected onto Ripon Workhouse last night. All the art is handmade by children aged 10-16 yrs old in response to ‘how a child would feel going into The Workhouse in the 1800’s’. We used a mix of hand drawn stopmotion and photographic light graffiti to produce this abstract style.
It’s running for the next 4 weeks so please go and have a look.
This is my first projection mapping project and I’ve learned a heck of a lot! I’m already thinking about new ideas going forward as it was so much fun to produce.

It's been a fun evening putting the finishing touches onto our Ripon art project. We've been stood out in the cold making sure that the artwork is in the right place on the building. The light show will be projected onto the front of Ripon Workhouse Museum for 4 weeks, starting on the 13th at 6pm. All of the art has been handmade by children aged between 10 and 16 years old!
